Recently enquired about some products and was told to call back the next day as more stock should’ve arrived before lunch. I attended at lunch time to purchase over £700 worth of equipment only to be greeted with a very snappy sales representative and be told ‘no the delivery isn’t here yet, it’s a big lorry and turns up when it gets here, why don’t you just call instead of turning up’ I left and spent my cash elsewhere and got great customer service.

Won’t be returning.

How does this company opperate, i have no idea ? Try and contact by phone, and it says all our telephone calls are recorded for training and learning purposes Then it clicks to ringing then to answer the phone. Leave a message. no one ever gets back in touch TIME FOR A NEW PHONE SYSTEM

I wasn't impressed with my recent purchase from Adamsons Swanland who is part of the Ripon Family.
I purchased a Stihl hedge trimmer only to find that when I got it home it struggled to start, when i finally got the machine running it just wouldn't pick up power. I rang the dealers first thing the following morning and
I returned it to Adamsons Swanland explaining the issue. They tried to start it which took around 10 pulls to fire up.
They took the machine into to workshop to tweek it and we tried to start it agian after it did improve slightly.
We let it cool down and tried to start it again which took another 10 pulls so they took it back and had another attempt to tweek it. They tried another new machine out of a box and it fired up first pull, by this time I was requesting a replacement or a upgrade or my cash back. They wouldn't give me a full refund because it had left their premises and been used briefly, it couldn't be use properly because it wouldn't pick up rev's, so they wouldn't give me a full refund I would have been around 30% out of pocket. They wouldn't replace it either. So I'm now stuck with a hedge trimmer which in their opinion is normal for this kind of machine.
I will not be purchasing from Adamson Swanland who is part of the Ripon Family again. I definitely would not recommend them for their after sale care.

Great place to buy your garden machinary. Keen prices on big items but watch the small items as they will not match online sellers for these and often charge almost double what you can buy them online. Shame really, after you have spent £900 on a large item and they won't match the sundries. Still they are very helpful and Mathew is a star.

Went to look at lawn tractors (first time looking and went with lots of question) the salesman 'Derek' was fantastic, really knowledgeable and helpful and took all the time we needed to answer all our questions, and when we get to the point of purchase we will definately be going back thank you
