I have to disagree with the last few negative comments on here! I took my new Suffolk punch lawnmower here which wasn’t cutting correctly, not only did they sort the problem they also sharpened the blade - and didn’t charge me a penny!

So impressed, I took my old lawnmower which I’d got the new one to replace and they fixed the drive so we don’t have to push it around.

When I brought the old machine home it wouldn’t run without full choke, so I called to ask if there was something I could try - he said he had a call out in my area the next morning and would call in - not only did he come, he found the problem (dirt in injector, probably disturbed during transit) and fixed it with no change!

Ripon Farm services and their team are old-school customer focused: professional, friendly and knowledgeable! I will be shouting their names from the rooftops! Thanks especially to John, Jenny and Stephen!

An absolute disgrace of a company. Used to be good when it was Clayton's but since it was taken over the staff aren't interested unless you are in there to make an extravagant purchase. Staff stand around chatting, laughing and showing each other things on their phones then 20 minutes later they'll ask what do you want. Never pay in cash, they are corrupt and try to claim a couple of weeks later goods haven't been paid for. Just avoid them at all costs, if you are in the North and need John Deere try to stretch yourself to Thomas Sheriff. They will help anyone no matter what size business you have and they will give you the best discounts and advice on what you really need instead of trying to sell you the most expensive equipment they have.
Took my chainsaw in for a simple repair and service, didn't hear back from them for 2 weeks so I called to find out they hadn't even looked at it. I lost a week's work as I thought I was told it won't take long. The staff don't care and the company is a shambles.

Poor customer service, didn't have a clue. Had to ring a number of other stores myself to get what I wanted ordered and sent to shop. I'm still waiting for the call to let me know that my items had been delivered.
