I normally don't have any issues ordering from here and I always order for friends at the same time, quality, service and price is usually excellent.
Unfortunately this time I was missing my square sausage. I emailed an was offered either a refund or my lorne to be sent to me in the west midlands, I chose a refund as I still had some in my freezer. That was 29th January, after 8 emails back and forth am still waiting for my refund.
This is the first time this has happened in the few years I've been buying from here let's hope it can be resolved soon like other online Butchers I've ordered from.
Unfortunately I've given up receiving anything from rendalls by way of a refund or even a response to this review, so sad as I like this company but back to my previous butcher.

Ordered a scottish hamper a few weeks ago to be delivered today for my parents. It arrived exactly when requested and they are over the moon with the contents. Everything is excellent quality thank you very much!

Struggled to find a decent affordable Butcher in the Highlands, so thought I would give Rendalls a go, and stock up the freezer ahead of Christmas. The order was great value, arrived on time and the quality looks fantastic. So far we have tried the chicken breasts (that were huge) and also the Balmoral pies, both of which were great.
Will definitely use again as my new 'go to' butchers.

Im from scotland but moved deep south for work.

I order a monthly parcel from here its delivered 500+ miles away in perfect condition every time. The food quality is 100/100....

My Wee English Step Lass dosent like English Links anymore only the Rendalls Square 🤣

So I was a bit worried when I ordered my supply's on line and even when my order was short of my Lorne Sausage I rang them up and the lady on the other end was ever so polite and helpful and the shortfall was quickly resolved the produce was lovely and I certainly have more confidence next time I order which will be very soon took me back to my younger days the breakfast was enjoyed by all of my family

Exiled Scot living in South Wales, ordered after a few glasses of vino on a whim, my sister had sent me a food parcel prior to Christmas (lorne/Stornoway black pudding/Scotch pies) but I had to bin them after one of the kids turned the garage freezer off! ( I didn't have the heart to tell her)
So I placed the order with Rendalls which was an easy process. I got to pick the delivery day with the delivery being done by DPD giving an hour window. As it was, I wasn't in but my instructions to leave it in the porch was done. The packaging was excellent, the ice packs were still frozen bearing in mind I live near Cardiff and the package came from Scotland! Everything was intact and was excellent quality. I tried the chicken pakora and made my own spicy sauce to go with it and it was an absolute treat. Then I had to try a Scotch pie......yum. it took me back to the 16 year old boy that left Scotland to join the army. I for one will definitely be ordering again. That is a fantastic business you have, especially for those of us miles from home. Thank you for a taste of home that I have missed!
