From sending the first email David was a pleasure to deal with. It was my first time having my own fleece processed & received lots of advice by phone & email. When the time came to sending it to Ramipsham Mill i was lucky i hit them at a quiet period so the job was done quickly. A couple of weeks later i received it back & straight away got stuck into making a rug out of my fleece. The end product was super soft & very clean slivers which made the most beautiful rug. Was really happy with the whole service & will definitely be using again. Thanks very much David & Ruth, i will be back in touch again soon 👍🏼

I sent David 5 fleeces for processing into pin drafted roving. They were not easy fleeces to deal with whatsoever, being quite fine (ca. 20-23 microns) and mostly high grease (merino types and crosses). The quality of the prep job done on these was outstanding! The best I’ve ever seen from any U.K. mill and rivalling some of the best mills in the USA. Genuinely I could not be happier with the work Rampisham did for me. David was phenomenal to work with with the whole process being very easy and stress free! Rampisham is now my go to mill for processing! I wouldn’t go anywhere else now!

A year ago as a complete newbie to having fleeces processed for me to spin, I found Rampisham via a web search and was delighted from start to finish.
David is patient and extremely well informed and my rookie questions did not bother him at all. I felt I was in very safe hands and that my fleeces would be handled professionally.
When my husband and I went to drop them off, it was super to have a personalised introduction to the processing in the high tech environment of the workroom and to thoroughly understand what the various stages involved. This was reassuring and necessary for me as I focus strongly on sustainability and traceability in my work.
I was lucky enough in passing to also meet Ruth his business and life partner and their lovely happy family!
David and Ruth have an awesome business here. Their focus on customer service combined with in-depth expertise and state of the art technology means I am just about to consign another large bundle of fleeces to them again! Thoroughly recommended, definitely worth the investment and thank you to David particularly for his skills, knowledge and insights.
