In all my years working with Chris and his team(17 in fact), not only have I found them the most amiable group of people but my accounts and the advice I have been provided with have been first class. I believe Chris works for his clients NOT the Revenue unlike a lot of Accountants. I would thoroughly recommend Chris Porter and his team.

The worst experience I have had, Chris would never come back on any queries, avoided answering questions and was rude. Not to mention the continuous mistakes. I transferred from self/employed to employed, Chris advised I was up to date on everything. Role forward 7 months and I have a huge outstanding tax bill and late charges that I was not aware of.

0 response from Chris so I paid another accountant to remedy his mess. One of the times I managed to get hold of him he looked on what was owed and joked “the bailiffs will be knocking on your door” shocking and stressful I would not recommend to anyone

Awful. They forgot to submit my accounts 2 years in a row. Rude on the phone - shouting over me and not letting me ask questions fully. Made up fake expenses on my return without my permission. I didn't want to evade my tax bill! Told me I didn't need to submit a personal return despite me asking them several times. Didn't tell me that I needed to be paying nat. insurance. They don't even have a letterbox! You can find better with your eyes closed. Stay away if you don't want to get fines from HMRC.
