I had the pleasure of trying the ceremonial cacao from Austria paired with an almond croissant, and it was a delightful combination! The richness of the cacao perfectly complemented the sweetness of the croissant. The shop itself is a hidden gem—quiet, peaceful, and far from the usual hustle and bustle.

Very small boho-hipster café just steps from Winchester station. We really liked the drinks, especially the chai latte, but the bakery items (croissant, pain au chocolat, and cinnamon roll) were forgettable and overpriced. Petal, the adorable little dog, was the sweetest part of the visit!

Absolutely loved this place! The owner and staff are super friendly and hospitable — and there's a great dog too. The coffee? Crazy good. Hands down the best café in Winchester (and I’ve tried quite a few)!

I had popped by here in passing and thought it was a sweet little coffee shop. I enjoyed their drinks they had an interesting depth of flavour. However this gem really shinned when I stopped by for brunch, I ordered the Turkish eggs that came with a twist of local honey. This dish was amazing, it had different hits of favourite in each mouthful and was both creamy and rich. I would 100% come back and eat here again. Hats off to your fabulous chef for doing such amazing work especially in such a small space!

They have a good range of options for Vegetarian/Vegan.

I had the most amazing experience here this morning, I don’t think I’ve found another place like it in Winchester. The food is beautifully presented and full of flavours, the drinks are unique with the cacaos and mushroom blends (not to mention delicious) lastly the service is on point! Its warm, relaxed atmosphere made me want to stay all day. It’s got an alternative feel to the place with all the tropical plants and vibe. I almost felt like I’d escaped the dreary UK and could have been in Costa Rica! Photos of before and after! Thank you team Røst 🫶

*revised review* 5 stars all around !! Located right next to Winchester train station this modern, aesthetic, zen cafe offers something different to the average coffee house. My chai spiced latte was traditional, presented beautifully and tasted very different to normal powder packaged drinks. I can also highly recommend the mushroom mocha it is sensational and a great bonus to your day.

Right by the station, small and cosy coffee shop with great coffee. On a Sunday we visited they only had a choice of two food items over the counter (but they seem to have a cooked menu), we tried both and they were pretty good. Lovely elderly resident dog for cuddles
