You cannot fault the staff at this terrific addition to Kirkcaldy High St and the quality and range of products fresh and frozen is superb. This is a REAL and traditional butcher, they know their stuff from farm to plate. Gluten free products are fantastic too. .
Do not go to your supermarket for pre packed, go in, ask, be advised and learn about quality from experts.

Friendly staff and a great selection of unique food items that you can’t get elsewhere. The meat is very high quality and comes from local farms which I really liked. Highly recommend this place if you’re in town. Eggs cheaper than Morrisons too!

Now I’ll be honest I live in Burntisland and everyone here bangs on about our local butcher here but I’m sorry but puddledub is absolutely our favourite. I hate plain pork chops so get them in a Chinese marinade and they’re always more than happy to do it for us. Direct comparison to the Burntisland butchers these are much tastier so it’s the reason we will travel into Kirkcaldy and continue to support this fantastic butchers. Food and service is always excellent

Not great.. first time in this butchers.. potatoes were soft and sprouting roots yet still full price.. got them home and by the time I cut all the black off them there was practically nothing left.. had to end up going to aldi to by proper potatoes that were cheaper and better quality.

First visit since they moved to their own shop.
Firstly prices have risen considerably since the move of premises, for instance half a black pudding £8.50 full black pudding £12.50, the full black pudding used to be £7.50 whilst on offer certainly.
The chicken schnitzels were a particular favourite of ours and pre move were an absolute delight, the ones today were under spiced bland and tasteless plus they were very poorly filleted ie many bloody bits.
What was a fantastic butcher has turned into a bang average money making scheme where standards have slipped massively.
Update- the beef and bacon rissoles are okay but nothing special
