I thought it was a garden centre. . . Not a bad choice of perennials and the like given the size of the area devoted to outside plants. Plenty of choice on compost etc. The inside is houseplants garden gloves, tools, fertilisers, weedkiller etc. Then there is the pet area with good choices to make it suitably confusing unless you know what you want. Staff a plentiful and helpful. There is a cafe upstairs with a choice of inside or outside. If you choose outside, watch out as the tables have seen better days and wobble. Not due to uneven ground but general wear around the anchor point. It is also expensive. Get in before 10-1015 as it fills up quite quickly with the chattering classes. Overall the garden centre is good and I would go for a repeat visit. 4 stars due to expensive cafe. (£6.80 for 1 coffee and a soft drink.)

Extensive range of plants and shrubs with staff eager to help you. Wide selection of goods in the cottage shop. Cafe on mezzanine has good food locally cooked. Nice outside verandah in good weather. Car Park outside but that can be full at busy times. Go early! Definitely worth a visit.

Great local and other food options. Fresh and frozen. Organic and vegetarian and gluten free. Lovely wines and desserts too. Great for an emergency purchase or a great. Good quality produce.
