We had a lovely lunch with family in the restaurant. The icy car park made it very difficult for my disabled husband & myself to walk both into & out of the restaurant but we managed with care. However, upon arriving home I noticed that both of us had dog muck on the doles of our shoes. Really!! I thought salt was put down to deal with icy conditions not dog muck. If you own a dog it should be your responsibility to up after its toilet.
The restaurant is lovely, the service good etc but we will NOT be visiting again due to such a filthy dirty car parking area.

Brilliant play cafe at the Den, for toddlers, lots of crafts and toys outside. Turn into the car park and keep driving up through to the car park at the back. The signage could be better.
Great outdoor children's play area. Great food and drink. Brilliant to also be able to see the goats, turkeys, sheep, chickens and peacocks by the car park. We'll definitely be back!

Sunny Good Friday we plan to drive out, google search we get this place , 35min journey, lovely place walk around , Garden centre, clothing, “Free” Farm absolutely happy place for kids & adults.
Restaurants with good services & foods .
A place sure will return .

Great little find. The children enjoyed the feeding farm and fed the chickens and goats. It was smaller than I was expecting but they enjoyed it which was the main thing! All staff very friendly and some lovely independent shops

Amazing little petting zoo with goats, chickens, sheep, roosters, even a turkey! It has honesty boxes for 50p pots of feed and a hand washing station. Highly recommend if you’re passing (or can make a detour!)

Such a lovely village complex. A little farm, beauty salon, restaurant, clothes shop, garden centre and store, not to mention a childrens play group facility. There’s plenty of parking and it’s nice to see the wildlife roaming free around you. Ideal for a little morning or afternoon out of the house! Fun for all ages.

Absolute fantastic little place to visit. All the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating to all families. The food was fantastic and we'll presented. The kids especially enjoyed their ice creams.

Not been here for a long time as didn't feel there was much to do. On a bank holiday weekend we thought we'd give it another try. We were overcharged in the nursery for half dead stock and ignored in the cafe when trying to get seated. We promptly left and won't return.
