First order, website said delivery Thursday in my area. Did my order and confirmation order stated delivery Thursday. I emailed as it didn’t arrive to the response “I expect the website said Thursday but we deliver your area on Friday”. I stayed the confirmation said Thursday and reply was “don’t worry it’s coming tomorrow “. Not sure what I’m doing for dinner now. Not impressed

I love being able to go to this proper farm shop where they do their best to grow as much on the farm as they can rather than the typical small supermarket with little actual produce from the farm that most farm shops seem to be. It is impressive how much organic food they grow at Plowright on the small scale they operate. The food is sometimes a bit more wonky than a supermarket but tastes all the better for it. This is real food. Better for us and the environment must benefit from pretty much no food miles. They also buy in some other organic produce but things are well labelled to know where it comes from. There isn't any plastic in sight either. The farm shop is very small scale and you have to weigh things yourself but it is nice to be able to choose exactly what you want. I only wish it was open more often than Thur-Sat but understand why. Some of the products are a bit more expensive but given how much work goes in it doesn't seem like a lot. I might spend a bit more than the supermarket but for many people fruit and veg is a relatively small part of their weekly spend so it should be affordable and worth the price in my opinion. Overall I highly recommend a visit to the shop.

I’ve had two boxes of fruit and veg now and I can say (after trying numerous other companies) these supply the best veg. The produce lasts really well. A week later everything was still fresh and super tasty!! They are also very competitively priced. Great value for money and great fruit and veg. Highly recommend 👍🏼

Fantastic veg box service. We have a fortnightly delivery of a small veg box (plus mushrooms and bananas), and this is perfect for our family of 3. It has forced us to eat seasonally, and to explore new and exciting flavours when cooking. The flexibility of being able to exclude a couple of items is really helpful too.
Delivery is prompt and plastic free, and the boxes get used again and again.

My 1st experience of Plowright Organic was with one of their vans entering my street. The van came to a stop, I had passed it and went to cross the road. The driver of the van put it in reverse and began reversing without looking and had he not been alerted that I was in the road I wonder what would have happened? His response was "oh right" there was not an apology.
I would never consider using this company, that is my 1st impression and lasting impression of the company and maybe they should think about who they have representing them. thawas
