With the growing interest in regenerative and organic farming in the UK, and the spotlight cast by Clarkson's Farm on the benefits and beauty of locally sourced foods, I was keen to visit a farm shop offering a wide range of products produced on-site. I love unpasteurised milk, and my family loves goat milk, so when we discovered Plaw Hatch Farm Shop, we were eager to try their offerings.

Their range is plentiful, offering vegetables, milk, kefir, locally produced honey, natural spring water, organic eggs, flour, meat, bread, and baked goods. They even sell sheep's wool! The prices are reasonable, especially considering these are organic and locally sourced products.

The milk is fantastic—rich with cream and all the unpasteurised goodness. The farm offers discounts for returning the glass milk bottles, providing an incentive to recycle. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to give organic a try. Although I live in Brighton, the commute and petrol costs are worth it for the sake of your health and supporting the neighboring community.

Lovely Organic produce, raw milk and spring water at source. Plaw hatch is a good organic farm shop and cafe, but is not for those on a budget. Prices for Organic food are high, but so are the benefits. You may need to remortgage your house to do a weekly shop here, but you would be supporting the future of the planet and your own health.
Well worth a visit!

My local organic farm shop. I simply cannot drive past it without stopping in to buy something, even if I don't need anything. GF brownies, quiches, bread. Raw honey, Plaw Hatch milk, local cheeses, spring water. I feel blessed to have access to this wonderful place.

Good shop, friendly staff. I come here when the water spring is operational, and buy produce in the shop. They do milk in returnable glass bottles (not a milk buyer personally) The make and sell their own cheeses. Good selection of veggies although they tend to be priced a bit higher than the other organic food outlets in the area so do keep an eye on the price per kilo. They also have nice breads (try the focaccia) and organic apple juice, beer, cider and wine.
