The service provided by Tom is excellent. His knowledge of Auto mowers is second to none and we are really pleased that we purchased a mower from him. We have experienced a few issues post installation (all my own doing) and Tom was on hand over the phone to help. I can’t recommend an auto mower and Platts Horticulture enough.

We are delighted with our robotic mower and the excellent service Tom has provided. We have a large and complicated mowing area and Tom came to see us twice before we made a decision, spent a long time looking at our lawn and particular issues, and answering all our questions about different models etc. and as requested made a second visit to show us a sample mower in action.

The Husqvarna 450X was installed two months ago, with great attention to detail, and our lawn has never looked so good. If you are thinking of getting a robotic mower, we would highly recommend Tom Platts; you will not get better customer care. In contrast, we initially approached our local garden machinery company who were not interested in coming out to look at our land, and just proposed a “one size fits all” solution.

After a trip to Norway last year I noticed that many of the gardens appeared to have robotic mowers. As a result, I decided to look into what was available in the UK. To my delight I struck gold by finding Platts Horticulture. Tom called round from Platts to give us a demonstration and to see what we needed for our garden. Within a couple of weeks our mower was installed, working and we haven’t looked back.

This is probably the best purchase we have ever made! In the past we have tried all types of mowers (ride on/petrol/electric/rechargeable) but this is by far the best.

Not only is our lawn looking great but we are still receiving the most professional service and which is consistently excellent from the initial demonstration, installation and now after care.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the mower and the five star service provided.

The team was absolutely unresponsive to several telephone messages left by myself and my coworker. When I got in touch with the team over email, I got a very unwilling response, in spite of precise simple questions. Not helpful at all. Not recommended.
