Exactly one year before my wedding, I did a workshop with Claire and was secretly checking out her flower farm as a possibility for providing the wedding flowers. I wanted local and seasonal, as much as possible, and felt confident that whatever happened weatherwise Claire could provide. For early Spring, my colour scheme was pinks, whites, sort of burgundy and NO YELLOW. Yellow of course is quite prolific at this time of year but Claire pulled it off. The bouquets were stunning. A medium size for me, and small bouquets for maid of honour and two bridesmaids. I loved the frilly tulips. Colours perfect. We wanted to do our own flower arrangements for the tables. In addition to two buckets from Claire, I bought 100 ranunculus from an online supplier (too early in season for Claire) and osmanthus (foliage) from our garden. This was for 9 central arrangments and several smaller ones for the top table. We also had to create a bouquet for the flower girl and 14 buttonholes. The flowers looked amazing throughout. Doing our own flower arranging and buttonholes was a lovely way to bring the ladies together and add that unique personal touch. Many people commented on how beautiful the flowers looked, and this is from a venue where generally it comes from a supplier! Doing your own flowers does add an extra element of stress but I was adamant right from the start that this was what I really wanted, and so glad we did. Note - it helped that it was early April because the garage is a fridge. If it was hot... that would be really tricky. Thank you Claire! Local flower farms are now a staple in my life, and the more support we can give them, the better. As part of the service, I toured the farm a few weeks before the wedding to see what was flowering, shortlist potentials (or rather say what is definitely out - in the end Claire chooses what looks best at the time, and this is partially up to nature!), choose the string, and finalise pick-up arrangments. The whole process was very smooth and definitely happy to recommend PlantPassion for your wedding or event.

We were delighted with the flowers for our wedding that Claire provided from her lovely local farm. We really enjoyed meeting Claire and touring the farm, especially seeing the beds where our flowers were growing, and discussing our vision and what it would take to make it happen. We loved that we were able to mix buttonholes and bouquet arranged by Claire with buckets of flowers that our friends arranged into displays for the church, with the help of one of Claire's workshops. Choosing local, seasonal flowers arranged in eco-friendly ways was not a compromise but a real joy for us and we'd highly recommend Plant Passion to anyone else planning a wedding, or church flower arrangers looking for more sustainable approaches.

If you are considering Plant Passion for your wedding flowers definitely enquire! Claire was fantastic and we were so happy with our beautiful flowers.

We met Claire at one of the pick your own sessions (a great morning out - Claire even sent us back to the field as “we could fit more in the bucket”!) we went through photos of previous bouquets that she had made, and I gave guidance on colours and styles that I liked, and what turned out from my “pastel with pops of dark colour and unstructured” was more that I could imagine - loved it! We also got our table centrepieces made that were just as amazing.

It is clear that Claire is an expert in what she does, thank you!

We used Claire at Plant Passion a few years ago for my daughters wedding and since then she has been my ‘go to’, whenever I have needed a bouquet of flowers as a gift. I have also been lucky enough to receive a subscription of her Friday Flowers. I loved receiving these flowers which were delivered regularly to my doorstep. I love the fact that they are locally grown and pesticide & plastic free. Keep up the good work Claire!

We booked Claire for our wedding and were so pleased with her service and the flowers! She is completely committed to doing everything with minimal impact on the environment, but that doesn't detract at all from the beautiful flowers. If anything it means the flowers we got on the day were the best we could have had! Claire was very personable and flexible in arranging how we dropped off the bottles we were using to display the flowers. She will even take them back to reuse! I wouldn't consider anyone else for a wedding in Guildford or wider Surrey.

I went to a pick your own session and came home with an armful of beautiful flowers which looked amazing. Claire was on hand giving great advice about how to care of them and ensure they last longer, but also lots of information in general on growing flowers. She was so helpful and knowledgeable. I subscribed to these flowers over the summer in place of another flower delivery service and would heartily recommend this one. Not only did I get a huge number of stems that easily made two arrangements or filled two vases, but the fact they're grown locally using native blooms only, is an added bonus. Delivered freshly cut each Friday they lasted easily over a week. It was a lovely treat to see what was in bloom each week and the number and mixture of stems was fabulous. If you like fresh flowers in your house, if you want value for money, if you want to support a small local business and get beautiful native flowers straight from the field and live within their delivery area, then I cannot understand why you would go elsewhere!
