An exceptional recommendation from some one, who for may years, has struggled to find reliable competent trades people.
I had a 6m x 3.5 m conservatory with a polycarbonate roof. And for at least 5 months of the year, it was too cold to use (heating would have cost a fortune). So I looked for recommendations from family and friends, who I could use to upgrade the roof. Family members recommended P & K , having used them on two occasions, and on both, were very satisfied for the service, cost and result. Their last occasion was for a substantial extension conversion.
I found Peter to be very friendly, informative and helpful with many suggestions for options but all without any pressure selling. The cost was acceptable, along with the time scale for conversion to a warm insulated roof.
The lads came and completed the task within the allotted time, and left the conservatory as predicted, and clean. On completion, we had some sudden cold weather but the conservatory remained naturally warm, and without any real loss of light.
Overall, the work has been stress-free (with Peter, Karl and the Lads keeping me up to date with progress), and I would highly recommend P & K, and be happy for anyone to see their work at my home. MP

I had P and K fit my windows 4 years ago and did such a good job had them back to fit an orangery. We were not disappointed. From first visit pricing, to installing the service was excellent. Michael and Reece were a pleasure to have working here. Polite, conscientious and hard working. Even somehow managing to keep our house dry from torrential storms, although unfortunately both got extremely wet in doing so. This family run business is a credit to Peter, Karl and their fitter teams and would highly recommend them.

We have just had a Guardian “warm roof” installed on our conservatory by P & K Home Improvements. We are extremely pleased with it. When considering who to have we had six quotations from various trades people. The variation in price albeit “like for like” was quite extraordinary in range. We has the usual sales patter connected with double glazing; some being hard sell. Then along came P & K. My wife was impressed with Peter on the telephone with the initial contact. We then has Karl come round to look at our conservatory. He was extremely polite and informative but not at all pushy like some. Within a couple of days we received a quotation. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive. We decided to give P & K the contract. They (Peter) took the hassle of building control approval away from us. Then we were contacted by Peter to give us a date to start the work. A team of 3 fitters (all employed by P & K - not sub-contractors) were with us for 4-days and completed the work which included plastering the ceiling. They were really nice guys, friendly, polite well turned out in corporate clothing. My wife was very pleased how they cleared away any mess each day before going home. Their vans were modern, clean and decked out with the company name; not rusty, dirty old vehicles. The 3 worked extremely hard and made sure on day one that the old glass roof was off and the conservatory made watertight before they left. On their final day they cleaned all of the UPVC frames in the conservatory as well as cleaning all the windows and doors to a sparkle finish- my wife awarded them 12/10 for attention to detail. A week later, after the plastering had dried along came their sub-contracted painter to seal and paint the ceiling. He too was a very nice chap who made very little mess. Overall a fabulous job and we unreservedly would recommend P & K Home Improvements from Norwich for any similar work.

P&K Home Improvements were first class from start to finish with our Guardian warm roof conversion. Everyone was professional, polite, tidy, hard working and a real sense of a working as part of a team - a pleasure for me to keep on top of the teas and coffees!
