Alan Magnus is an exemplary conveyancer. I have used him before to sell other properties and in lease extensions including him extending the lease on all flats in a building. There is no one else I would trust. He is highly proficient, incredibly thorough, friendly with an extensive knowledge of property law.

In the most recent transaction, I was most impressed with his response to asking for indemnity for the lease not containing a mortgage protection clause. He schooled the purchasing solicitor on the UK Finance handbook, forfeiture proceedings, relevant practice direction of the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant section of Property Act 1925. Needless to say, there was a defining silence to his response closing down unnecessary enquires and avoiding me incurring costs for an indemnity insurance.

Alan responded to enquires within a few days putting to shame the month and weeks it took to get some of the enquire from the purchaser’s solicitor. I have full confidence in Alan whether it is purchasing, selling or extending a lease that he will have protected my interests, comprehensively reported on any potential risks and given me sound advice.
