Amazing quality meat. I'm so happy I've found Pendal Pastures. I was a little hesitant to order as the cost is much more than I would pay in my local butchers. HOWEVER you pay for what you get. The chickens have a beautiful texture and the breeds are of the traditional chickens that our ancestors ate. I was vegan for 5 years and decided to eat meat but only of good quality so thank God I've found this family run farm.

The animals are well looked after which reflects in the quality of the meat. Their customer service is great. They really care about what they do which I love.

I can now confidently feed my family without the guilt of not knowing where or how the animals are treated and what they are pumped up with.

If you want clean and high quality meat. Look no further!

The soft and tender chicken from Pendle Pastures reminded me of the food my mum (bless her soul) used to cook when I was growing up in Pakistan. I am so pleased that Abdur Rahman and Aminah have based their business on halal AND tayyib. People often fail to recognise that you cannot have one without the other. Their service is outstanding. Pendle Pastures is our go to place now for buying halal and tayyib chicken/meat despite the fact we live in Glasgow. (Fortunately, we have family in Clitheroe.)
