I work nearby to where these cows are farmed and I can absolutely vouch for the humane and compassionate way they’re cared for. The beef itself is delicious! We picked up 5kg to keep us going and so far we’ve made a stir fry, a spag Bol and a big batch of chilli, and all three have been divine. I’m always a bit gutted when I serve up the last portion.

If you’re still eating supermarket meat and haven’t yet tried regeneratively-farmed, take this as your sign to give it a go - they’re worlds apart on taste and you can sleep easy at night knowing the cows lived a very happy life.

Environmentally friendly group of farms in Ashover district, Derbyshire. Grass-fed Belted Galloway cattle ethically reared on zero pesticide input pastures, with very small carbon footprint. Prices ££££ but worth it for flavour and peace of mind. You are eating meat, but it's had a good life!
