Bought 4 of these pork pies today. Omg they were without doubt the best I have ever tasted. The meat dissolved in your mouth. The pastry was pure perfection. Worth travelling from other side of Barnsley for. We will be ordering for Christmas. Highly recommend 👌

Bought 3 large pork pies for Christmas @ £3.70 each and boy , never again . My mother bought one as well and she said exactly the same . Every bite was full of gristle . Tried 2 pies and the same . put me and mum well off them and I gave the 3rd pie away . Cannot understand as one of the lads brought one in the club for us to share and that was fine and tasty but 2 out of the 3 I got were gristle every mouthful 👎 if that's going to be the quality going forward then it's back to potters pies for moi 😔. Shame as they used to be bang on .

We lived very near this shop a number of years ago and I used to hate pork pies until I bought them from here. I now live in Somerset, a lot of miles away! Would love to still get them if on line orders and delivery were available. Not had any to match them

The pork pies are obviously well known and have a great reputation, and rightly so, but deffo give the sausage rolls and potted meat a go too! Always have great friendly service when I visit.

If you havnt been here before please visit lovely Staff and always fresh produce meat, stew meat,cooked meat,black pudding fresh eggs sausage rolls, pasties and the pork pies are to die for would not buy them anywhere else,we always go here if a family member mentions a buffet 😋
