I have been using RoughNeck tools for many years and always found them excellent, I have though gone through two post hole diggers, the tool remained strong but failed at the hinge on both occasions. On an off chance I contacted Olympia Tools, (distributor), and was both amazed and delighted at the speedy response to my query and immediate resolution to my problem. New hinge plates on their way within 24 hours of my email.
Superb customer service, so rare these days. Well done all!

Amazing customer service! Contacted Olympia customer service about one of their roughneck products which I assumed was well out of warranty and they were more than helpful and impeccably professional and efficient at getting back to my emails. All 3 members of their team Leo Edwards, Millie Green and Agnieszka Kowalewska were fantastically helpful and very quick to resolve the matter. didn't realise these tools have a lifetime guarantee!! phoned the company and then again to my surprise they were 5 minutes from where I live. I popped in with my faulty log splitting maul and with excellent no fuss service from the the young lady Millie at reception was given a new replacement maul and handed in my faulty one. Very happy with my first experience with this company. Also Millie informed me that Roughneck will be modifying the problem with a new design shortly. Highly recommended customer service.

Omg why cant all companies be like Olympia. Customer service that every other business should aspire to. Fantastic tools, even better customer service. Millie Green dealt with small issue like it was really important to her. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or buy from them again.

Tape measure in massive plastic unrecyclable packaging.
All our employees have been told not to buy tools covered in plastic packaging after one of them bought a Roughneck tape measure covered in unrecyclable plastic. This is a new product and could have been mounted on a cardboard backing. Disgusted
