This is a great nursery with a high standard of plants. The staff are very helpful. We were working on a patio project and needed plants and we were able to get them all from Olivers and have them delivered to our garden. There is also a great cafe / restaurant on site that does great food.

We usually make a weekly visit to Oliver's where we enjoy a coffee and delicious cheese scones in the Black Horse cafe, followed by a wander through the well stocked nursery. Visiting the production greenhouses during Palooza week gave an interesting insight to what happens behind the scenes.

I had looked at this garden centre on line, and it looked the ideal place to view/ buy some plants and to have something to eat. We are on holiday in this area, and visited today. Unfortunately as we approached the entrance there was a sign stating no dogs allowed! I asked one of the staff and she confirmed dogs are only allowed in the outside covered area of the cafe. It’s very misleading to say you are dog friendly when clearly that isn’t the case. In the North East the majority of garden centres are fully dog friendly .

We have visited Oliver's many times over the years and have always been highly impressed by it's very helpful & friendly staff who are always willing to take the time to give invaluable advice. There is a wide a variety of both indoor & outdoor plants at fair prices. Also The Black Horse Restaurant serves food sour ed from local suppliers. We visited today for Mother's Day Afternoon Tea which was lovely and delicious they are the best Afternoon Teas at a reasonable price. We were especially impressed by Ellie who worked very hard running the Afternoon Tea service. Thanks also to Dave for all your advice today.

This is an excellent place, the plants are beautiful and so healthy, and reasonable price, the staff cant do enough to help, very knowledgeable and kind. The cafe was excellent lovely food served quickly even though it was busy. Although it was our first visit, it felt like we were very welcome.

Dave and his team, including Povlas our delivery guy (who was extremely helpful and strong!) were brilliant from start to finish! Dave was so helpful in aiding us with the selection of our beautiful black bamboos, through to advice on care of the plants and arranging prompt delivery. We couldn’t be more delighted and have since gone on to order two beautiful jasmine arches to be delivered to my mother in Dedham. Well done Dave & your team for a first class service! 🙂

Very well laid out and walking through the house plant section, the smells were amazing. Breakfast was delicious then we boarded shuttle bus.
Bamboozled by palooza: Nice to visit the greenhouses and calves but no plants were for sale in that area despite me offering to buy a half dead plant and pick out 2 others to purchase (weren’t available in the main shop).Chap was not the happiest when we asked although all the other staff were great. The sticky labels on some pots read different to the staked labels so I’m not sure if my bushes are going to be 1 metre or 2.5 lol
