Fantastic shop, which showcases the full range of Oliver's cider. Great to discuss the various styles of cider on offer - from very traditional to modern. A no brainer for a cider drinker to pop in if you're in the area when they're open on Saturday,

No sign on road to say they are only open on Sat 11am to 1 pm. Not very friendly when I turned up hoping to buy some cider. What I saw in the pallets was just canned stuff. I'd give it a miss.

A fascinating visit and Tom could not have been more knowledgeable and helpful, offering free samples of excellent cider and Perry to aid our purchases. Will definitely be back.

Nice cider but customer service could be much better

Was working nearby and regularly drive past on the way home. There is a sign right out on the main road saying there's a shop on site.

Drove in to see the doors shut and a sign on the shop door saying to call if no one was there. Called Oliver's number on the sign and said I'd like to buy some cider, only for him to sound quite confused to receive the called and said "Umm, can you see anyone there?". Could see one guy working in the distance so spoke to him and he opened the shop for us and sold us the cider. He just seemed quite annoyed to be taken away from his job he was doing and wasn't very helpful when he realised I didn't have an extensive cider knowledge.

It wasn't until I was leaving that I found out the reason why all of this was so much effort. Turns out the shop is ONLY OPEN ON SATURDAYS. This is despite NOT A SINGLE SIGN ANYWHERE saying the opening days or times of the shop. This is a shame as the cider was great, but I wouldn't dare pop by that shop again as I might get the wrong day/time again and inconvenience everyone obviously!

Edit:// Just noticed someone else in the reviews complained about exactly the same thing. "felt like the staff had to be coaxed into helping". Hilarious how things haven't been improved

Very welcoming and helpful service. Variety of choice and knowledge of the cider was well explained. Will be shopping here again. We'll recommend if in the area to call in and have a look. Thank you Tom Oliver for all your help.

One of England's finest cider makers and an excellent chap to meet too. Open 11am to 1pm on Saturdays only though!
