Took my daughter for a Halloween event this year. Was our first time visiting and didn’t disappoint.
The park and facilities are spacious and clean. The park wasn’t over crowded so ques for the rides were reasonable and we didn’t have to wait too long.
The Halloween event in particular was well thought out, plenty of pumpkins to choose from and photo opportunities.

I will say a small amount of animals but considering it’s not just a farm I would say it does the job and they have schedules where you can watch them get fed etc.

I would definitely come back. About 50minute journey for us over the bridge but a fun day out my daughter enjoyed. A few great play areas too.

We visited on a Friday during term time, we had a non pupil day. The kids were 6 and 9, I think they're on the older side for what's on offer here but they still had a great time and wanted to stay all day. Everything looks quite recently updated and even the toilets are nicely decorated. The animals all look like they have great enclosures too. The rides are great, they especially liked the crazy barn and the carousel. Most carousels have a few different animals but this has got a shark next to a hummingbird so what more can you ask for?
Special thanks to the train driver, he was so enthusiastic and you could see he loved doing it for the kids. He was taking pictures of all the families on the train carriages and it really made my day. As a single dad taking my kids out places I rarely get a picture with all 3 of us together like that.

Expensive but my kids enjoyed, experience was great. To me food also overpriced. It’s quite big space, there were so many different things to do. Kids went for rides and they enjoyed it . They also played at the soft play area. Overall they enjoyed a lot, we may go again.

A great day attending the farm for the Christmas event to meet Santa. If I am honest, I expected to see more animals. The rides are great, and the events for Christmas are also good. We had differing experiences with staff. Some were very happy and engaging (actors such as the fairy and elf), but the staff at the hot chocolate stall were very underwhelming and not helpful.

Decorations for Christmas were brilliant, and I loved the nice touches of the Christmas Train and writing a letter to Santa. Our two year old loved the day. However, it was expensive for what it was, and this also related to drinks/food, which was not the highest quality. That said I would definitely go back for future events as we really enjoyed the day.

What a brilliant day we had at Old McDonald’s farm.
It’s a hidden gem that I did not know about!

It has everything from -
many farm animals, to getting up to close and petting animals,
to funfair rides suitable for toddlers and babies,
To many, amazing and fun playgrounds to a really good soft play area.
And it’s all included in 1 admission price which becomes cheaper the more in advance you book it!

Went on a Sunday- no queues to get in, no queues for animal encounters and maximum had to wait for a ride was 1minute!

Fun, family day out suitable for all

One of the most wonderful day out spots for children in London. Very cost effective. All riders and play areas included in the entry tickets which is the most pleasant thing. My 4 year old son enjoyed the day today at the farm. Very convenient location with all facilities...large car park, good toilets facilities and sitting area. It is a worth taking the full family with all the kids....I will definitely come back again...

Kids loved it, the circus was good and even though a very warm day it was a lot of fun. There is shaded areas to sit and eat or just sit down. Would highly recommend. Purchase tickets before you go and screen shoot them for faster entry, must be on a light background setting on phone or they can't scan them. Girls loved the petting of the rabbits and ponies and all the rides.

We booked to go to old Mac Donald farm as they were doing a Christmas theme in advance. I have visited before but not for Christmas, I was amazed by all the effort they have gone to make it Christmassy! It was fantastic, my family and my children had the best time. They had a brilliant Father Christmas with elves, polar bears, gingerbread man and my daughter also got to meet Elsa and Anna. All the staff were lovely and helpful. I would highly recommend!
