Perfect location for sheltered accommodation. Quiet area, Village shops nearby, plenty parking for both residents and visitors. Attractive looking building outside and inside. Perfect sized flats for elderly people living alone. Hallways, elevators and communal areas Very clean and well maintained. As a carer for residents in this building, I would definitely recommend it to my other clients.

I cannot speak for other complexes run by Viewpoint but sadly I have to report that I have suffered living here for a year and five months where the coordinators are lacking in compassion and are unprofessional and abusive....the decent lovely coordinator Louise has left and she was the only good one apart from a few sporadic temps. Viewpoint Housing did nothing to help me until a new Director for People and Place (Lyn Jardine) joined and she, so far, is making positive changes whereas other Viewpoint staff who should know better have consistently lied to cover themselves and failed in their slogan "joy in later years"... anyone reading this I would suggest living elsewhere if you want a peaceful, decent life. If anyone wants details I am more than happy to provide those via my legal representative....
December 2018 ... Sad to report things have not improved .... promises made by Viewpoint have not been kept ..e.g. I requested CCTV a long time ago along with other tenants as there has been abuse here suffered by myself and others plus the fire brigade are out here at ofc more often than not ! At 02:48 yesterday the fire alarm sounded and I woke up startled to the smell of burning ...this was extremely frightening as a massive bin was on fire within the building. Also, the notice boards on three levels had been set alight a week or so previously. If CCTV had been.installed as promised, the perpetrator would have been caught but as per usual Viewpoint did not keep their word. This is not a safe or happy place to live - somewhere to be avoided !!!!

We are now into February 2019 and my MSP plus his staff are dealing with Viewpoint's failings from 2018 on my behalf as Viewpoint have not dealt with my complaint correctly.

Praying I find a decent home soon so that I can put all this behind me and start living !

As for their slogan "joy in later years" ... regarding old farm court ... they must be having a laugh - but at least CCTV is in and miraculously the arson has stopped. My friend, next door but one, has found a beautiful place away from here, so that gives me hope 🙄

Update as at 28/2/2019 ... My MSP is very supportive to my case as they had many negative dealings with Viewpoint Housing so I have emailed the Chairman of Viewpoint to see if I get a response as the bully employee Joyce Smith was extremely deceitful again.... to be continued.....

Update as at 08/03/2019

I have, at last, moved from Old Farm Court to a decent flat far away from the abuse etc.....my health has already improved, eczema virtually gone, sleeping peacefully etc...neighbours all reasonable except for one who I've been warned about but, I guess, that's life - at least its only one and not surprisingly a "friend" of Joyce Smith.

I always believe the best in people but sadly certain Viewpoint staff only show respect to tenants when it suits them and/or when they can be seen !!!

Lastly, I'd advise anyone considering moving to Old Fart Court to pray for wisdom before moving there as it's been the most unhappy three years of my life and should've been dealt with drastically differently but if you enjoy a lot of gossip, disrespect and lies, then this is the perfect place for you 🙄

New MSP dealing with bullying etc. I received from certain Viewpoint staff etc... !

Anyone reading this may like to label me as a complainer but that I am not ...I just hate injustice, bullying, disrespect and lack of professional behaviour plus I allowed it to go on way too long before actually "complaining" ... plus this is not just about me - there are many tenants suffering who have told me their dreadful experiences yet are too afraid and vulnerable to report them ... not acceptable
