Went to Old Barn Garden Centre today to have a Festive Afternoon Tea for 2 with my family and it was absolutely wonderful. The table was decorated really well and the food was fresh and delicious. All the staff were so attentive and kind. It is such a great experience and highly recommended. They also do a standard version in case you wanted to go outside of the festive season!

We booked an afternoon tea in The Breeze House for my Sister & Brother-in-laws 60th wedding anniversary. We had a lovely welcome from a waitress who created us with a smile & showed us where to go. The seating was very comfy with cushions and blankets if you needed them. The attention to detail with the lighting and centerpiece was lovely. It was lovely and warm with the over head heating. We were looked after by Denise who was very attentive. She went above and beyond for us. Nothing was to much trouble. There was a good selection of food ,which was very fresh & plenty of it. We would highly recommend & cant wait to return. Thanks again for a lovely time Sarah, Ian, Jane & Alan. 🙂

A large garden centre with lots to see. Very clean and tidy with friendly staff. They have a good selection of plants indoors and out, all healthy and reasonable cost. Lots of pots, ornaments, pictures, toys, bbq, kitchenware. A smaller selection of tools, wellies, gloves, etc. There is a very large restaurant area, light and airy with a dog friendly section and safe play area. Its just off the A24 and easy to find. Only drawback was entrance and exit onto fast road. But patience is key.

Visited 13/12/24 as we had booked the Christmas afternoon tea for 2.
We were seated at our reserved table and greeted by Carole who then looked after us for the duration of our visit. We felt this was a lovely touch.
The food was lovely and fresh and very tasty and a twist on the traditional tea.
We have always found the food excellent and the staff are a credit, always polite and friendly.
Planning on booking for the savoury afternoon tea soon.

We had an excellent Christmas lunch for 43 at the Old Barn restaurant for our Riding for the Disabled Carriage Driving Charity, Happy Landings.

This was our third year at the venue which has been consistently good value and of a high standard. Service was prompt and the staff welcoming and very helpful. The management were also very accommodating in meeting our concerns relating to room for wheelchairs.’

Review mostly for cafe/resturant.
Food is lovely - good price.
Staff really helpful & attentive.
Cake was a little dry - seemed to have been out on the side a while…
However I would definitely return.

Would highly recommend for anything from a large gathering of family and friends to a quiet afternoon tea. I organised a surprise afternoon tea party for around 35-40 people with the expert assistance of the restaurant manager - Karin. She was extremely helpful and assisted with every request prior to arrival and the staff onsite were attentive and delightful.
