Lovely quiet place for a walk, it certainly doesn't feel like you're on the edge of Huddersfield! Lots of ducks here and also a kingfisher!

Easy Dave (Hughes) We all grew up fishing here (& Ferreting), We all knew it as Warcar, But it's called Oakscar & Longwood bottom is the one below it which Warcar feeds into `-' (It's also called compensation reservoir ) Anyway I'm glad they updated the spillway as my front tooth (& It was my 2nd tooth !!) Is probably still lodged in it's concrete somewhere & I earned the nickname Lippy after I bashed my mouth in by slipping on the spillway '~' But it's still a beautiful place with plenty of healthy wildlife & Beautiful scenery '-'
