Oak Tree Alpacas - Nottingham

I took my 11 year old granddaughter and her friend for a trek with charming alpacas. We learnt so much about these charming, gentle creatures from our fantastic trek leader Jack who is a font of knowledge.

Me and my partner came today for a walk with the Alpacas and it was absolutely fantastic! It was lovely to meet everyone on the farm and it was fantastic to hear about their history and all the great things that are made in-house from not only the alpaca fleece, but also the local produce that they grow!

We took them for a lovely stroll in the fields, followed by a tour of their workshop and finally cake and tea in their garden. The tea was made with freshly picked herbs and the cake was absolutely phenomenal! I was so thankful they could accommodate my gluten allergy.

I cannot express how brilliant their hospitality is and the care and attention they give this beautiful animals.

Thank you for an amazing day, we cannot wait to come again!

We had the best time at Oak Tree Farm! I love alpacas and this was the first time we got to walk them. Jane was brilliant and you can tell is very passionate about what she does! Millie led the walk and was so lovely to talk to and told us lots about alpacas and their individual personalities 🥰 We got to walk Sicario 🦙😍 the tea and cake was beautifully delicious! Fiona bakes the cakes herself too!! Luckily it was a nice day so we got to enjoy this outside under the tree. I would totally recommend 🧡

We had a fantastic experience here at Oak Tree Farm, we can't speak highly enough of the warm hospitality and dedicated nature of all the staff. They really do love their alpacas and talk so knowledgably about them. The alpacas are treated as part of the family. The walk was a good distance and the alpacas enjoyed it as much as us. Equally as impressive were the flower and herb gardens, amazing organisation. The herbal tea I had from the garden was easily the best I have ever tasted. We requested two felt alpacas made from fleece from Corey and Sicario, the two alpacas we had taken for a walk - these were ready to pick up with in a week - we very much appreciated the quick service. The whole farm is professional and we recommend it wholeheartedly.

My family and I had a wonderful time with Jane and the Alpacas at Oak Tree Farm. The place was easy to find and park and the experience was great.

There are other animals on the same such as sheep, chickens, other Alpacas, and a horse to meet on the way around.

We had a mixture of ages from age 8 to 71. It’s an activity that all ages can enjoy.

We had a rainy day so wellies are recommended with a warm coat.

We had a wonderful time at Oaktree Alpacas yesterday 27/06/24. I went with my parents and twin 3 year olds.
We had a farm tour and alpaca feeding session in the field. We then sat under a beautiful big oak tree and enjoyed  freshly picked herbal teas and homemade cakes which were so delicious!
Jane and Sam were extremely knowledgeable on alpacas. We really enjoyed learning about the herb gardens and animals. Jane showed us the many amazing uses for alpaca wool and poop and did a wool spinning demonstration for us. Its a beautiful place with a calm and quiet atmosphere. We will be coming back! Brought my family up to the farm and had a wonderful time! Beautiful setting and the garden is a real treat. Staff are so knowledgeable about the alpacas and the experience felt very tailored to us. Couldn't leave without picking up honey, dried herbs and an alpaca wool hat all sourced from the farm. Couldn't recommend highly enough for a lovely day out.

This was a very fun experience to come across. The people working at the farm were very nice, friendly and knowledgeable about the animals and what they were doing. They've shown us how to act around the alpacas for our and the alpacas' safety and told us many cool and interesting facts about them. Overall, it was a one in a lifetime experience and would surely recommend it.
