The best butchers EVER. Great quality meat, decent prices and wonderful service!
We popped in yesterday, and my 5yr old daughter got to open an advent calendar!!!
What a lovely idea!

She has suggested we go back there every day now!!

Low Fell is not as close to Durham as I'd like.
We are moving soon, perhaps closer!
As this is the only butchers for me now.
Top notch!!

This place is a local treasure. The price range accommodates everyone, you can go all out or get very affordable cuts as well. Every piece of meat or chicken I have had from here has been of excellent quality and taste.

The seasoned sausages are worth buying, the low fell local is 👌

They sell oven ready chicken in delicious sauces as well as marinated pork and burger patties for the hob. I recently tried their black garlic marinated steak, divine. They also have a few other bits and bobs for sale in the back fridge.

I highly recommend this place. I buy my meat and chicken here instead of bigger shops because it’s important to support local business. If you have not stopped in please do, the staff are lovely and very helpful.

It seems if you want to buy anything close to 5pm they just can’t be bothered. Went in for some steaks as i know they usually have decent products. There was a sad piece of ribeye up front and i asked if they have anything decent at the back. Got a dismissive reply “this is the standard we have”. Really? Ok then, good luck with your standard.
