We enjoyed our tour of Northumberland Spirit / Blacksmiths distillery very much. The owner showed us around and explained the history of the company and how the individual gins were made (plus some rum which was in the pipeline). The tour and tasting was entertaining. A good hour spent. We left with purchases which will make excellent gifts for friends. Naturally we have a bottle or two for us!

A good value tour and the gins are competitively priced.

Excellent tour of the home of “Alnwick Gin” distillery! Very detailed and amusing stories from its infancy, surviving covid and on to today.

Then came the gin tasting. So many, so different and so lovely!

A thoroughly interesting afternoon. The host was very informative and a very nice chap. We were in a very small group so made asking questions easy. We sampled something in the region of 14 gins / liqueurs so good value for money.

The best gin distillery tour I've been on (and I've been on a few!!). So informative, great to hear the history and reason behind the company, the perfect amount of information. Nice to try the newer gins, I don't need to try the Alnwick Gin, it's already my favourite!!
