We had a wonderful one-night stay here at Northlees, a genuine working farm, with a stunning location - but which is only a short drive from Perth city centre. As others have noted, the visit was made special by Jean and Andy, who welcome you into their home with simple kindness and attention. If you’re used to the impersonal in a chain hotel, this is a completely different experience - we were booked in here by a friend and we had some trepidation as this style of accommodation is a new one for us, but one we will certainly be repeating. We had the double room, which was well equipped, with spotlessly clean bedding and a lovely new en-suite with a great shower. Who needs an alarm when there are cockerels and chickens about. It was stunning to watch the light fade on the hills from bed, and to wake up to the view. Excellent breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

What a lovely place, the photos really don’t do it justice. Jean and Andy made us feel very welcome, tea and homemade biscuits on arrival. Our double room (with new en-suite) was beautiful looking out over the fields. Breakfast was lovely complete with home made scones. Shame we only stayed one night - would definitely return if we’re that way again.

I stayed with my little daughter for two nights recently & had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We were made so welcome from the minute we arrived until we left. My daughter love animals, especially dogs & loved meeting the extended family. Breakfast was great with a wide variation available. I couldn't fault any of my stay, very clean, comfortable & enjoyable. An excellent weekend, highly recommended.

I'm a bit late posting my review, but my friend and I had a fabulous stay here in June. Jean and Andy could not have been more welcoming - we arrived to tea, scones and cake!! Breakfast the next day was equally delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations as well as meeting both their daughter and delightful grandson. Our room was everything we wanted - comfortable beds giving us a good night's sleep and a nice en-suite. They also offer a few pitches for campervans and tents which was useful to know, and I would certainly stay again if I'm in the area. Thank you!

Spectacular location overlooking the River Tay. Jean & Andy made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was good with home-made scones the highlight. Room was clean & comfortable with an en-suite. No TV, but who needs one with views like that? Nice change to be on a working farm - would certainly go again if in the area.

Lovely spot, stunning views. Superb home baking in the info hut. But they must have a new dog. It barked for an hour and a half when we got there. Then woke us up at 12.30am barking , then 1 30am, then at 4am it barked for over half an hour, then again at 6am until 8am. We wanted a quiet overnight stop for a sleep and didn't get one. Apart from the dog barking it would have been ideal. We don't feel like driving today after not very much sleep.

Jean and Andy lovely hosts made to feel very welcome. Family feel sepdrate entrance to little annexe twin room with power shower en suite private. In surrounds of a working farm well maintained sheep chickens friendly cow loved a wee pat very dog friendly took our two little dogs no charge breakfast fresh lovely. A beautiful scenic location quiet and peaceful

We had a very warm welcome, with a cuppa and some biscuits. A very clean room, with en suite. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was good. Would definitely go back!
