Well, what can I say! An absolutely brilliant service! Spoke to Steve about our petrol mower not running smoothly. He collected it from my home the following morning and returned it fixed a a matter of hours later!! Honest advice. Honest work. Honest price. Will definitely be using Steve again!

Nothing is too much trouble for Steve and his knowledge and expertise are second to none! I use him for servicing my petrol mower and all my petrol garden tools. He is such an amiable guy and very easy to work with. Always goes the extra mile for you. And no, I am not a personal friend at all just a very satisfied customer.

Really good all round service, our outfield mower for the cricket club has never cut so clean, first time we have used Northfields for this machine. Easy friendly local service that has a great shop as well.

Did such shoddy work (at great expense) to my mower over the years that it ended up getting written off! It appears they have a reputation locally as someone NOT to go if you need your lawnmower repaired. Save yourself a lot of time and trouble and avoid these people.

Took my Honda petrol push along in. Guys collected it and brought it back it had a service and repaired shear pin which had snapped. Almost immediately shear pin snapped again. Someone came round and took it away again and repaired it and said that it had snapped because grass being cut was too long. A week later (on low level grass) it snapped again. I took the mower to a Honda main dealer this time who informed me that the replacement pin was not a Honda part and was sub standard and should not have been used. The Honda dealer charged me £30 - Steve Northfield charged me over £100 for the initial 'service and repair' - avoid at all costs!
