Beautiful and well kept park in Oldham, small amount of wild birds on a couple of ponds, tennis courts, rowing boats and lots of paths. A very easy but pleasant walk around

I absolutely love visiting the Northern roots site. As it stands now, it has many different areas from open spaces, winding side paths, woodland, with a variety of flowers and wildlife to see....which varies with each new season. I visit here with the children, where we use the land to our advantage when partaking in numerous activities, e.g., kite flying, sports, duck racing in puddles and streams, nature crafts, etc. All it takes is a little creativity and imagination! I am looking forward to all of the future plans coming to life that will benefit the surrounding communities in numerous ways.

Lovely place to walk around. Nice area to have a stroll with tye kiddies or dogs or both. Park lovely for the little ones to play. Shame the splash pool has been discontinued to be filled, as it was a great way for the kids to cool off in the summer and always well used.

Lovely place but feels a little unsafe in summer months. Lots of young people on motor bikes speeding up and down pathways. Especially on Tip rd
