Great little farm shop with some gorgeous meat at the butchers. They also sell Cheshire ice cream which is a bonus. We went in the outdoor area which was fun, loads to do and lots of space, all the animals are close by too. Lovely place for little ones

Amazing, staff helpful, polite, and friendly, we've been using the butchers and the pet shop for over 20 years, cannot fault the quality of the meat and veg, also the selection in the pet shop is top notch and of the best quality, we do not buy our meat from anywhere else, we buy in bulk so spend between £100-£200 per visit but the quantity of meat we get is unbelievable, when broken down you get more for your money than buying meat from the supermarkets.
They also have a cafe and kids play area on site, indoor and outdoor, so ideal for all weathers

This is a really nice place to take the kids. I won't bother going to any of the special events next year though. My kids didn't like the Halloween disco and we've just been in the Santa experience and it was way too expensive for what it is.

I'm leaving a 3 star today based on our visit today got to the cafe at 2.35pm and was told that they stop serving food at 2.45, I was always told 3pm as we go regularly, could have hot food but yet it says hot food served up to 3pm, I questioned this then was told no, last order is 2.45 but bring out food upto 3pm ..... sounds like making up different rules on the spot ...OK well we had enough time ....you can only have a sandwich or bacon bap....OK so we had to leave ? 1st time we have been in when it's not been as welcoming or friendly a little disappointed as its a regular favourite especially when we travel some distance....so for today's visit 31st October its a middle of the road review as we did not have food it was more of the lack of hospitality and closing earlier than stated. Will we be back? not for a little while as its too far for us to travel and can't run the risk of earlier closing ?

Farm food prices, good selection of typical farm shop food. We went more for the kids play area, anything requiring batteries didn't work, the tables weren't cleaned between the play sessions but there's different play areas, bricks, bouncy slide, ride on toys and 2 small football pitches so at £6 for 90 minutes per child it's a good fun for them. Went for Christmas, staff were good, play area still lacks any care, needs some attention and money spent on it.

Update. May visit, no more balls added to pit in play area. Some of the more broken toys seemed to have been removed though.

Oh wow, we will be returning here. We picked up 3 very large minted lamb steaks for £15. Had two coffee lattes and a bacon sandwich which was only just over £10. Staff were very friendly and my granddaughter loved the farm animals. Highly recommended for a visit.
