I spent two five hour sessions fishing on snake lake. After a phone call to get some advice and talking to another angler, I set up a simple float rig using mainly bread as bait. The lake holds a good variety of fish and range of sizes. I had roach, skimmer bream, carp and mirror carp up to 3 lbs. A ghost carp and golden orfe added nice surprises too. Other anglers were having success with sweetcorn, expander pellets and luncheon meat. I enjoyed it so much I paid the fishery a second visit with similar rod bending fun. Heartily recommend this fishery.

Excellent hard parking. Very pleasant and quite apart from the aeroplanes !
Clean no rubbish and nice countryside plenty of fish in the snake lake. Fishing is as hard or as easy as you want to make it, something for everyone on the complex. Only downside is no loo by the lake so ladies beware.

I went there for Christmas tree. Great service, guy selling it was really helpful and help me choose one, packed and put into boot. I payed less than in garden centre and tree was amazing

So far the fishing had been very slow, not even a bite after 5 hours.
It's October now so maybe that's why...Will report more after we leave

Dusted my fishing gear off and came for a days fishing, The first time in 12 years.
I spent the day on centre lake, what a great day. Plenty of bites and I’m sure I missed a few as it was windy. I have now ordered a bite alarm. Landed 6 fish 2 were cat fish which was a first for me. Bailiff very friendly came round mid morning to collect day ticket money. I will definitely be back when I get time. Handy being near toilets too if you get caught short.

difficult to find the lakes, no facilities that suit me as the wife comes fishing with me, not impressed with any of the lakes......will suit others I'm sure, but not for me
