First time visiting new leaf despite only living 20 minutes away and so happily surprised! All the plants & stock reasonably priced and set out very well. MUST visit the cafe, cakes are delicious and plenty of tables/space. Disabled access and suitable for prams 🙂 highly recommend

My partner and I visited New Leaf this morning for the first time to pick up some things I needed to repot an orchid. The entire place was lovely and had everything I needed at a reasonable price.

We also stopped by the cafe and had some really wonderful coffee. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back.

Very good quality healthy plants, not particularly cheap but I think good value. Plenty of choice and good parking a shame though that the lady who served us thought she was doing us a favour really ( even though our purchases amounted to £175) . She did manage a begrudging thank you at the end- perhaps she was just having a bad day.

Dog friendly garden centre with excellent cafe offering hot food and
great salads. Coffee was excellent, and service was very courteous and friendly too .

Went for breakfast on Sunday ordered poached eggs on toast x2 tea and a coffee . Waited over 30 mins for it to arrive and when it did the eggs were practically raw . We were disappointed as the bill was over £18 so we expected better than raw eggs especially considering we waited so long .

I was to early but got talking to a member of staff who was pruning out front, he was very helpful. I asked what I needed for re-potting garden plant & cactus pointed me to the area for grit & gravel £5.99 each. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars is for garden centre. Lots of offers on compost Jack's magic 2 x 50ltr for £16 , there is loads to choose from in plants, trees, pots etc, it is very well stocked.

The New Shoots coffee shop (⭐⭐⭐ stars)is nice light plenty of seating lots of staff.
I had a cappuccino £3.70
& a scone, jam & cream £4.20 I had to ask for butter. Both were nice, not that I could say the same for a person on the till. My first time in this cafe I didn't know you needed a table number to order, sorry.
There is NO signing to tell you we're to park your trolly whilst visiting the cafe.
Just a thought put one up & designate area outside for them.

Great range of garden plants and everything else you'd need. Just a little pricier than the place down the road for what I wanted. Lots of staff around to help and advise when needed.
