Week 23/07/2021||Second visit to this fantastic barn conversion and every bit as comfortable and as enjoyable as before despite once again the weather. You cannot ask for better hosts than Ju and Pete who from even before you arrive make you feel welcome. A truly lovely couple who always have time for a chat and making sure you’re comfortable. ||Upon arrival you’re welcomed and treated to a lovely cream tea with home made sultana scones, jam, cream, tea and coffee. The small touches like a pint of milk in the fridge, toilet rolls and fresh flowers on the table really add to the experience and make you feel at home. The barn itself is first class (we booked again via Sykes Holidays - check them out for pictures) and then there is the equally lovely Bowji next door. We’ve not stayed there but have been inside for a look round. Again, fantastic accommodation. ||Equipped with just about everything you need to make for a great stay, a home from home. Spotlessly clean before COVID, now all rooms steam cleaned before you arrive. Not a spec of dust, a crumb on the floor or hair in the shower. Cleaning here is 10/10. ||There are 6 acres of privately owned fields for kids to play in, walk around and see the rabbits at night if you’re lucky. Private secure parking outside your accommodation and a great base for exploring Cornwall. ||I can’t recommend this place highly enough. From the barn, through to the owners, there is no faulting Mynheer Farm.||Overall, 11/10. It’s that good !

We were a party of four adults who stayed at Mynheer farm in the bungalow known as Bowji for one week. We could not fault the accomodation, it had everything you need for a wonderful stay, it was just so comfortable. Wonderful hosts, Pete and Ju, who were happy to assist as and when required but did not intrude. The cream tea was so enjoyable after the long journey down. We would all recommend this accomodation without hesitation as a great place to explore the South of Cornwall.

Mynheer Farm Bowji is excellent accommodation. We stayed here July 2015 and chose it specifically because it had 2 en-suite rooms and as friends (2 couples) holidaying this was essential. The Bowji, Cornish for cowshed, is very well equipped and spotless offering adequate accommodation for 4 adults. We were welcomed by Ju and Pete, the owners, and a very welcome cream tea - the home made scones were excellent. Our journey from the Midlands had taken longer than anticipated and consequently we didn't arrive before the Tesco food delivery, however Ju took it in for us and put away all the fresh foods - what excellent service. We saw Ju and Pete often during our weeks stay, usually as we sat outside enjoying the sunshine and they are both very friendly without being intrusive. ||||Mynheer Farm is in a very quiet location and a little off the beaten track so unless you are seasoned walkers you do need a car to get around but we all enjoyed it so much we are returning for a week very soon.||||I would recommend this property without reservation.

Pete and ju were really friendly with home-baked scones on arrival. It was the most peaceful and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommend it. We stayed with our friends and went for my wife's birthday and she had a bottle of wine as a gift aswell. Not one thing that we can fault.

We stayed here in mid July as a family at the Bowji. On the day of arrival, we were warmly greeted by hosts Pete & Ju, who showed us around the property. Before treating us to a delicious complementary homemade Cream Tea. The well-equipped kitchen came in handy for several family meals. The beds were very comfy with an ensuite bathroom in each bedroom. There were games and outdoor toys available not to mention the selection of DVDs and Board Games in the Bowji. Thank you Pete and Ju, we will be back soon!
