Muddy Boots (Harvest Barn) was an absolute hidden gem for us! We were searching for things to do on Google and so thankful that we found this place. We've driven past this place hundreds of times without realising what it was!

We saw and fed Alpaca, Sheep, Goats, Ducks, Chicken, and Pigs. Our 4 year old absolutely loved getting close and feeding them and kept him occupied for hours. There is also an outdoor play area for the kids with slides, swings, etc

They also hold loads of seasonal events here throughout the year.

The customer service was great, and the food was amazing and tasted better than a lot of restaurants we've been to (and we only had a starter).

We tried the 3 small plates for £12 option and selected:
• Fried mushrooms (tasty)
• Halloumi sticks with salsa (delicious)
• Whitebait fish with tartar sauce (delicious)
• Cheese & tomato turnover (not great as it was mostly just pastry). You can do better guys!

Freakshake (milkshake Wispa):
Looked delicious but wasn't as good as i'd hoped. Nevertheless, it was presented beautifully, and I'd try a different one next time.

Cofee and Cake:
• Ferrero Rocher Shortbread
• Brooke (Brownie & Cookie)

The goats and sheep looked healthy and had good sized pens to graze on, but we were upset to see the many ducks in their pen without clean water or any water larger in size than one washing up bowl. They looked rather neglected and too many for the space available.

Coffee was excellent, with a nicely laid out cafe area inside. Reasonable prices for food and drink.

Had a lovely few hours with my daughter here very friendly place and the food was excellent. Wasn’t as many animals as we had liked but the lambs and baby goats and especially the alpaca made up for it. Let’s not forget the chickens 🙂 and more importantly Frosty !!
Definitely coming here again 👍

Absolutely love it here! The kids always look forward to coming back here, seeing the animals and having a play whilst the grown ups look forward to a lovely cuppa and a slice of cake. The staff are so welcoming and the little shop always has something quirky that you won’t find somewhere else!

My son absolutely loves it here! Since we visited for the first time last summer, he wanted to visit almost weekly.
A season ticket would be great for people like us who like to visit (very) regularly 😊
