Went mid week service was prompt and were seated quickly. After a short while our server took our food and beverage order. Drinks quickly followed. The burger I ordered was plump and juicy accompanied with a beautifully toasted roll. The chips were hot and crispy. You could tell everything was cooked fresh and with care. I finished with an Eton Mess sundae which could easily have been shared by two if a couple visited.

Found myself in Tiverton looking for somewhere to eat and was directed to Mrs Gills. Thank you to the lady for the recommendation, the food was terrific. Sunday lunch, roast pork, Yorkshire, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, carrots and red cabbage with apple sauce and plenty of gravy. This was a real surprise and a treat, I thought I would have to pay through the nose at some posh pub somewhere. Tiverton you are lucky to have such a fantastic establishment and I'm surprised you're not queueing up outside the door. Good food, great service, clean establishment and all at
a reasonable price.

My husband and I go to Mrs Gills nearly every Monday morning and we are always happy with our food and service. We usually have a breakfast but we have had a Sunday lunch with them and it was delicious! We look forward to going every week and always leave satisfied and happy.

Lovely coffee and attentive service. A good place to meet friends. Coronation chicken was poor, no sultanas or flavour and the chicken was cold with very little sauce. Jacket potato was nicely cooked though.

Slow service. Very underwhelming food. Burger was tiny. Tasted ok but as advertised as locally sourced, I was expecting a quality type burger you would find from a local butcher. This was a 3 or 4 oz burger and lost in the bun. Husband had ploughman’s. Nice shop ham but nothing special, cheddar cheese and no apple as advertised. Again. Ok but both could have been much better with quality ingredients

Assume breakfast, grest coffee with the option of a takeaway cake for later.. food and service is excellent. You can see the bakers at work, compliments to the breakfast chef too. A must visit...

They have a great menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner.. I reckon I will be back for afternoon tea and sample the Mrs Gills cakes.

Beautifully presented breakfasts on clean white plates. The best breakfast in the southwest. The table service was extremely polite and professional. The café is extremely clean. We will be back when we're this way again. Thank you

Went in to buy a cake today for a birthday at short notice and they had a lovely Happy Birthday chocolate sponge, The service was amazing at the till and even though I was only in there for a few minutes I came out smiling! Great hospitality, thankyou to whoever was on the till Sun/22nd of Dec.
