Stayed with my boyfriend for the night, definitely going back at some point. The area is lovely and the farm owns a lot of land for you to walk around. Even though the train tracks are fairly close the noise wasn’t loud enough to be a disturbance and we quite liked watching it go past. We also liked the fire pits that are free to use. The toilets are nice and they’re kept really clean, we didn’t use the showers but they looked really good for camping facilities. The washing up sinks are useful too. Got some lovely chickens eggs too, it’s nice to watch them roam around free range. We got given two for free which was very kind. Some people complained a bit about it being on a bit of a slant but it wasn’t terrible and if you sleep with your head at the top it’s fine, we both slept really well. The owner was friendly and explained everything to us so it was easy to get settled in 🙂

Hard work in an 18ton truck, narrow and bumpy entrance, nowhere to turn around, had to back out onto a fast road, on a hill on a bend.

Absolutely perfect! Would recommend to anyone here for a quiet, but fun break away from the real world.
Beautiful views, horses, and a chicken that wants to be your friend!
The owners are great fun, and very helpful for every situation! We will definitely be back asap!

Great self service campsite, excellent view across the High Weald AONB, adults only too and well priced. Campfires encouraged with free use of pits and cheap logs or BYO.
