Great place to look around, with loads to see and bargains to be had. The place was light and airy, with good social distancing in place. Nice food selection, too, which surprised me. One comment is that a number of things were not clearly priced but generally well run and friendly staff

Simply nice to look around out of curiosity but with lots of things you want to buy and usually do, I’ve brought a model glider, goose feed and a polo shirt on the same visit. Very helpful staff for the more technical farm stuff

Had a lovely experience today in the mole county store earlier on this evening. I was looking for local stores that were happy to give away cardboard boxes that were being recycled. I spoke to a lady who was polite & more than happy to assist, she directed me to speak with an absolutely lovely staff member, David. He went above & beyond to help me pick out exactly what I was looking for, he made extra effort to tape & cut a box that met my needs right at the end of his shift. Brilliant customer service will definitely be popping back in again to have a browse at all the other merchandise they stock.

Whereas the shop maybe have very helpful staff, the feed collection point is not as good. I am a farmers wife and capable (but slowly) of loading myself but the attitude of a male member today (Sunday 3rd December 2023) was not very nice. He fully expected me to load 30 bags (25kg) bags of stock feed on my own and his reply when I ordered the feed was “you are having a laugh”!! I wish I got his name. Another customer behind me did say to him are you not supposed to help your customers!! We will not be returning to the Dorchester branch (even though it is only 3 miles from us) but will travel to Yeovil where they are always happy to load you.
