Stayed at Solitaire Farm aka MJ Kiddy & Son Farm for one night.

Arrived late in the evening, phone numbers to ring to gain access to the campsite though word of warning, mobile reception in this area was poor. But the owners live right next door to the camp.

Quiet, isolated campsite though immediate adjacent to Drove Road so you will hear vehicles driving past.

Grass was long in the campsite and there were some cows and sheep in the next field which you have to walk though to access the washing and water facility.

Short walk to the combined toilet and showers facility which was shared with numerous spiders and insects. There were only two other pitchers so no waiting to use the facilties. Shower water was hot and adjustable. Sink didn't have hot water tap.

Enjoyed our camp here and would come back again if we are in the area again.

Used it to stay one night only with our camper and to refill and dispose everything. Toilet and shower are a bit far off the campsite which some people might not like. Friendly Owner who has no problem with late arrivals and explained everything in a quick fashion. Would stay there again.

A very level field with lovely views over the arable farmland. Hedgerows screen the site from the road which is quiet so gives you a sense of being very rural. Great location, with easy access to lots of walks. 30 mins to Bedford and Cambridge. Basic toilet and shower room with washing up facilities. Very friendly manager who oversees it and makes sure you have everything you need.

Great huge and open grassy campsite, not much possible shade, very friendly owner.
It's a working farm with lots of animals. BUT we have never seen such poorly looking ducks, geese and chicken. The ducks had three little bowls with too few water to swim in there. I never saw ducks with such bad feathering. Young chicken were hold in cages, up to 14 of them in about one square meter. The older ones got bigger areas without any gras. The second day we saw a dead chicken lying in there. It was still there when we left two days later. Seeing those poorly kept animals was heartbreaking.

It is OK for one night. The toilet is also the shower. It is the only toilet on site. Insufficient for the size of the site. The pitches are quite cramped.
It is cheaper than most.

Simple. Basic. Tidy.
Shane is a star, cockerel not so much but being based on a farm what does one expect. All round, decent site.

Bacon as good as it gets, traditionally dry cured from their free range, rate breed pigs. Fantastic sausage, pork, lamb and eggs too. Just up the road from my house, so buying local too.

Excellent campsite to sit and chill. Peaceful farm setting, on-site farm shop. The most friendly owners too!
