I went here yesterday to buy a riding hat for my daughter and coming from a non-riding family, this can be a daunting experience. However, Carol at Thirsk was incredible! She spent a vast amount of time meticulously trying each one on, explaining to me everything I needed to know and was really helpful and friendly. I cannot fault the customer service experience we received and will go to there in future for all my equestrian needs! Thank you so so much for making it a great experience and helping so much!

Gone down massively since it was taken over and prices gone up an enormous amount. Own brand dog food went up instantly by £7 a sack and the pack size reduced to 10kg. Supplies are inconsistent and can't guarantee stock from one visit to the next. The range of meat in the farm shop has reduced and prices increased, it used to be a great quality little farm shop but they seem to be phasing it out, you can't even rely on them having snacks and canned drinks, supply is very hit and miss. I also had an issue with price labels being put over ingredients and as allergens lists. The prices charged for some things also seem to depend on who serves you, which is just wrong. Just not what it was sadly.

Used to be a good shop, however it has recently been bought out by a chain, prices have rocketed, an example is Royal Canin dog food 15kg £90, identical bag £60 from Pets at home. Range of products has been reduced, well worth avoiding.

Really excellent customer service and kindness. I wanted a bag of road salt but this was far too heavy for me to carry, so the young man serving me very kindly split it into 2 strong plastic bags. Brilliant! Greens were also the only store I could find who had road salt in stock.

Apologies for previously leaving a 1 star review, this was a mistake!! Visited recently via a recommendation during a trip to visit family when our dog's collar snapped. We were so impressed with the selection of whippet products and came away with much more then planned! The service was super friendly and helpful and our dog got a little treat which was lovely. We'll be sure to visit again when we're in the area.
