A magical weekend in a wonderful setting. The farm lived up to and exceeded all our expectations. There were 20+ of us ranging from age 6 weeks to 70 years and everyone had a fabulous time. Farmer Chris could not have been more helpful and is invested in ensuring guests have a good time. We enjoyed the hot tub, Alpaca walk and the hay barn. Our pizza evening was great. Thoroughly recommend and already having requests for another visit.

Posting on behalf of my father :||We booked for my daughters 40th and stayed in the tree house and two of the luxury lodges and from arrival Chris was exceptional we had a tour of all rooms and he was informative and friendly throughout, all the accommodation was very well maintained and the tree house especially was amazing, the kids were absolutley obsessed with the play barn and we loved being so close to the alpacas and goats! Even though we were a large group we were made to feel welcomed and the stay was brilliant, ||Chris ran a laser clay shooting session for us and was both informative and helpful throughout, even giving the kids extra encouragement and extra time to play. Location is fantastic and we are already looking at rebooking for a longer stay!

Had a great long weekend staying in the Shire (Oakwood) with two kids under 10 and a dog in tow.||The themed cottage was amazing as was the hot tub.||The guys running the farm were super helpful and the kids loved the alpacas, goats and donkeys as well as the fresh chicken eggs. Would recommend the Barge Inn - right on the canal near the locks and lovely food.||

Great location, near many places for sightseeing. Stayed in the tree house which was amazing. Loads of activities to do on site and the host was great in showing us all that was around the area. Would highly recommend for people of all ages as there is somting for everyone. The hay shed was great fun and could spend a day just in there. Have a honesty shop on site which has all that you would need to cook a breakfast and snacks for children.

We spent a brilliant weekend here recently.|This is definitely the best glamping we have ever done.|We were visiting nearby Stonehenge and decided to make a weekend of it at Chris’ farm. |This is the most luxurious glamping you will get. We stayed in the squirrel tent which was a 2 storey tent. We had lots of space, it was really comfortable, indoor toilet and shower, gas hob, electric lighting and sockets in all the rooms, WiFi, comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen and an honesty shop if you run out of something . You can cook outdoors too if you want or just toast marshmallows over the fire pit.||Our children loved playing in the hay barn, which is a barn with bales of hay around a central pit filled with hay and a rope swing overhead. They made friends with other kids and played in the hay for hours.||It’s a nice safe environment for children. We felt comfortable giving them the freedom to roam around, it’s far away from the working farm. The site doesn’t have too many pitches and you have plenty of privacy.||Highlights were walking alpacas with Isla and collecting eggs that had been freshly laid.||We travelled 4 hours to get here and it was definitely worth it, we would come back.|I doubt there are any other places as good as this.

We had such a lovely time away celebrating mums birthday at Mill Farm. We stayed in the farmhouse which was perfect, and very well equipped with stair gates and high chairs etc. ||Particular highlights were the hot tub, and for my 2.5 year old nephew, the ride on tractor and the play barn. ||Beautiful scenery, and lovely to be able to look out to donkeys, alpacas, goats and chickens. ||Really well looked after by Chris.||Thank you for a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

My wife and I spent a couple of nights here for our honeymoon. We were welcomed by George and shown around. The shire house was out of this world. Absolutely beautiful and all the detail was incredible. The hot tub was perfect and the views were gorgeous. We had deer right outside the door one morning! We will definitely be back again! Lots of lovely places to visit nearby if you can tear yourself away from the peace and quiet. A beautiful getaway!

We stayed in Red Clover safari tent, it was very spacious and homely. My grandson loved sleeping in his little barn in the top bunk. The facilities and activities on offer were just right and the amount of accommodation is enough to keep it personal without becoming commercial. ||Farmer Chris was really helpful and it was nice he popped by each morning to check all was good.||We loved it so much, we're going back next year.
