The British require tea first thing in the morning as an absolute must. Milkmen understand this and do their best to get the rounds completed. When something goes wrong and milk is not delivered please understand it is not because 'the milkman is too lazy'. Lazy milkman is an oxymoron, there are NO lazy milkmen. They start work at 11pm and finish at 7am (if nothing goes wrong) 6 nights a week including public holidays except Christmas day. They do this for minimum wage with no loading for night shift or for starting at 11pm Sunday night. They do this week in and out in ALL weathers. If your milk delivery was missed it is usually a hardware issue, a mechanical issue or because the pikeys found the milkman at 3am on a country road and stole your milk. None of this is down to the milkman's work ethic. The workers at this depot are all quality hardworking decent people that deserve more money for the work they do, yet they do it anyway because they, like you, believe in a cup of tea to start the day and the value of tradition.

To the driver of Milk and More in Stansted Mountfitchet - please refrain from accelerating your petrol van at breakneck speeds through the Hargrave Estate at 4.20am. Quite why you feel the need to drive so aggressively is beyond me. You are causing a nuisance. Maybe investment in electric vehicles might be better? I will take up with local council members if this continues.
