We tried this place for lunch on a Friday in September. We got lucky that there was an open table, within a few mins, there was small queue for tables.
The staff were lovely and very friendly (to both those who clearly visit on a very regular basis and those of us who had never been in before). Despite being busy, we didn’t feel rushed and weren’t kept waiting for too long either.
I had the most delicious milk/honey/spice/coffee drink, I’ve never had anything like it before but it was soooo good.
It was also refreshingly wonderful to actually see a nice selection of veggie and pescatarian dishes on the menu. I had a goats cheese tart which was really light and fluffy and so flavourful finished with one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had, so rich and creamy.
Definitely need to head back soon

Nice tourist haunt. Missed the breakfast by 30 minutes lunch menu was ok but nothing amazing. Service was a little chaotic but orders were finally taken. Front of house is busy which is a good thing. The system for front of house needs a little thought. Customers should not need to advise what they ordered when paying for example. The food was tasty enough but I do question the value for money on the lunch menu items. We ate it all up so defo tasty

Great food and great service. Had breakfast in here it was really goo had a good selection of some things but lacking of a vegan selection but had the veggie breakfast with out the egg and it was really good. The cakes in this place are the star of the show they all looked amazing with lots to choose from Dr and gf selections too the blueberry sponge was light and fluffy. Lunch options look and sound good and hope to return to try them 5 stars looking forward to return.

On the advice of a close friend who lives locally, our family of 4 headed down for a quick lunch. Friendly staff and wonderful food. Well worth the visit and definitely try the hot spiced milk with honey.

Before entering this café, my family and I wanted to grab and nice and fairly quick lunch before continuing our drive. I was rather disappointed with the service; although everyone was lovely, it was most likely the slowest service I have ever sat through. The food (a café) was more expensive than nearby restaurants and my Cajun Burger (although not a food critic) was bland and not worth the wait or the £15.50 price tag. The atmosphere was generally pleasant but overall was disappointed with the wait and the expensive food.

First time in this place to meet a friend and it was great. Food was lovely, black pudding and smoked cheese with sweet chilli sauce highly recommended, coffee was great and sweet was delicious.
If you are in Dornoch, go grab a bite. I will be back again next time I'm around.
