Highly recommend. The milkshakes tasted great and it was very well priced. The milkshakes were fresh. The equipment used in the machine cleans and sterilises itself. There was a swing next to the entrance. And you can see the cows nearby. Great place to visit and grab a drink

Saw this place on Tiktok, so we had to go visit.
Easy to use vending machines with a variety of flavoured milks, they also had frozen yoghurt and a vending machine with other snacks to buy.
Bonus was purchasing the bottles and being able to keep and refill at multiple venues.
Will definitely return, my son loved the Beuno milkshake ?

Stumbled across this on our way past, glad we popped in. Got some ice cream, though we didn't quite get it right and pressed buy before choosing our flavours and toppings, whoops. Was very plain but our own fault.
Bought a lovely bottle as we can reuse it at our local milkshake please. Lots of wonderful flavours to choose from. We settled on cream egg flavour (well our daughter did ?). It was lovely and tasted just like cream egg.
Reasonable prices and always great to support local farmers. Would definitely recommend a visit. ?

A location we stumbled upon on our way back North from the Peak District. We're glad we did, so much so we've been back again since (and that's from Durham). Prices are excellent, especially once you've purchased your re-usable bottles. Everything is self-service, easy to use and the choice of flavours is fantastic. Parking is free and there's a portaloo on site too.

We visited this gorgeous place today for the first time, and we are definitely in love! So many flavours to choose from and the milkshake tastes absolutely divine! We chose the strawberry with clotted cream and chocolate milkshake. Cannot recommend enough! My boys definitely approve

Milk From The Hills is absolutely amazing.

We visited on a very warm September Monday afternoon for our first visit and we loved it. We were fortunate enough to see Farmer James (very friendly), Beryl & Steve (chilling out) the cows and Joey the sheepdog (always working alongside James). We pulled up their road, which was slightly bumpy - small cars beware, found a space to park near the vending machine which I’d imagine could be tough on a weekend as I think there can’t have been more than 6 spaces at most(?). As we got out the very friendly Farmer James was restocking the milk in one of the machines and explained to us how it works as we said it’s our first visit. From what little words we exchanged with Farmer James we could tell he was a really nice person and was very proud of his farm & dairy.

As for the two vending machine huts, the white shed building on the left is where you’d find two vending machines. There’s a machine with items such as Longley Farm products, Milk From The Hills bucket hats (very tempting), 1 litre & 500ml glass bottles and other locally sourced items - we saw chocolate brownies & chocolate cookies from a nearby business/bakery. The other machine is the milkshake/milk vending machine. The wooden hut has one of the milkshake/milk vending machines also, and a coffee machine with usual accessories like stirrers & sugar. Both vending machines were easy to use as there were instructions stuck on them, easy to follow and we had no problems with them. There are plastic cups on hand if you don’t want to purchase a glass bottle for the milkshakes/milk. I presume these are to be returned though.

We both got ourselves a litre glass bottle, they look great, and filled it up with a milkshake. Vanilla & banana were our choices, both unlike anything we’d ever had before. They do have two weekly special flavours which were butterscotch & black cherry at the time of visiting. I love the fact they change these two flavours each week as it gives you even more reason to revisit. It’s also great that they allow flavour suggestions on their website. The syrups or flavourings they put in the milk were good but the super fresh, super chilled milk is what really made it shine. There are two picnic benches just behind the huts, one of which we sat at with a picnic we’d brought with us.

Before long we were back on our way, in our time at MFTH there were many visitors coming and going, even for a Monday. It was great to see a good family farm & dairy getting good business. Overall I’d definitely recommend a visit to Milk From The Hills, we will definitely be making the journey here again soon!

Went Sunday morning when it was nice and quiet. Milkshakes were tasty and the price reasonable. They don’t look to be kitted out for many visitors but it is more of a side hustle than primary business. It would have been nice to see a cow, maybe have a go at milking, or lasso a calf; however, it’s a working farm so can’t expect them to be brought out to add to the aesthetics.

Definitely the best milkshake I've ever tasted. Set in a lovely location, prices are really good. Also have vending machines for ice cream, frozen yoghurt, hot drinks machine and a miscellaneous machine with cakes etc. The owners always seem friendly. Nice to see how busy it gets but prefer it when it's quiet ?
