Great service, my Lions Main kit arrived promptly and so easy to set up. It took two weeks and our first harvest was ready! Followed your cooking instructions, and to be honest, they were delicious! We added a bit of ‘miso’ paste to add to the meal! This was such a ‘tasty’ experience. Would definitely recommend to friends! Thank you.

Upon moving to one of the local villages, I was pleased to discover a small business called Merrit Mushrooms that sells exotic mushrooms & and has home delivery to my door weekly of mushroom bundles! As well as all kinds of fun stuff on their website, I ordered a couple of mushroom producing kits for home as well. I’m very excited and I’m going to make all kinds of healthcare products and foods. This week, in my mushroom home-delivery they slipped a little gift into my package ? some dried mushroom packs! Amazing company! Very grateful!Thank you

Fantastic service, super fast delivery.

I think the substrate is a little expensive for the amount that you recieve but I understand the convenience of having it all mixed and ready so I guess that is what you are paying for.

But overall brilliant service and excellent quality.

See a picture of Lions mane that I inoculated on the 26th of June, not been a week yet and the mycelium is colonizing nicely!

For reference I used 300g Lions Mane spawn and 1200g Lions mane substrate dry mix (3kg wet)
Still got lots of spawn left over which is being stored in the fridge.

From purchase to door delivery, the care in their products are visible. The main thing I loved was that they used no plastic in my order. The mushrooms are fresh and inexpensive and the quantity/weight is on point. Highly recommended and definitely ordering from them again.

I tried to purchase again, but they were out of stock and had to order elsewhere. I was disappointed as it was made with more water than product. Coming back to Merit, is a game changer and I got selection this time. Them being sold-out shows how popular they are, selfishly I just wish they weren't.

It’s such great fun growing mushrooms!
My Dad used to help a friend who was a mushroom farmer so growing mushrooms brought back childhood memories.
There was some white mould on the bag at first so I thought I’d messed it up but a week later it started to grow. It’s the first batch, hoping it will have another set. I will definitely buy it again.
