Rapid turn around of displayed goods, always a selection of awesome colours and machines. Big seller and new, large vans with side painted company artwork. Very nice addition to the nearby Garden centre, gets a lot of well-heeled visitors. Very affluent community of buyers. Staff are fierce, third degree questioning, for example asks deeper and deeper details about a machine. Expensive for spare parts but they're quality, not internet imitations. Just buy one from the internet and compare the quality of Meldrums. To be fair the fierce manner of sales and management is suited to the community but they're high pressure salespeople, they'll nail you down with questions to assess their needs and your worth to them. They appear very busy, in the middle of a nightmare workload and will hand over glossy brochures to customers. They don't really like visitors but their displays are always changing, always new things to see. Couldn't recommend their sales manner but suit their farming community very well. Couldn't recommend their farming customers in their big crew cab 4 x 4 trucks, expect aggressive stares and bold confrontational styles. One very nice chap in an old LWB Land-Rover he boasts has done 400,000 miles. Farming types, nice lives but very hardworking. Best to browse when the place is empty of cronies. If there are any cars in their car park, steer clear, go to the garden centre instead, return when the car park is empty. Not much space in the store for more than one customer and a shortage of sales staff.

This is my first time using Meldrums and I have to say what a very positive experience it was. Having done some research on line, I decided that I needed to talk to a real person to get proper advice. Kenny was able to show me some options and without being at all 'pushy', suggest an alternative mower to the one I was considering - and am I glad he did. Not only was it slightly cheaper - it's also perfectly suited to what I need it to do. The result was a good sale for them and a very happy customer with delivery within 48 hours. Thanks guys! Next up a hedge trimmer!

Phoned for advice but the person who I needed to speak with was already on a call. They returned call as promised and gave me some great advice. If machines are required they will be purchased from Meldrums. Already trusted for parts and accessories.

Ordered drive belts for a ride on mower they didn't have in stock. Very expensive oe parts. Found cheaper online. They take their time in collecting equipment.
