Meat Jon is absolutely terrific, all the food is always excellent quality and Jon and Piers are very knowledgeable.

I would say that their sausages are probably the best in the world, which is a bold claim, but almost certainly true.

A local free range butchers serving wuality meat at a good price. The display is very clear and ptesented well. During covud-19 periof theu have refuced theur hoyrs and the number customers premitted.

Last time I was here I got two ribeye steaks and the italian sausages. Both made an amazing delicious meal! The butcher working was very kind and helped me with my selection. Well worth the price in my opinion. I will definitely be coming back here!

Meat Jon is one of the most fantastic butchers in South London. If you want to observe butchery in action, there is no better place to go. They happily and speedily butcher and trim to order so that you get just what you want.

The quality of the meat here is also well above that of butchers in Dulwich, Clapham, or anywhere else in South London. They are even open on Sundays!

As someone who grew up on a farm, I'm pretty pedantic about quality of sausages (in writing that sounds peculiar!).
I bought the Ladywell sausages last week and they were some of the best I've ever had.
The pork tenderloin and short rib are also recommended!

Average, but way above average in cost. Bought 6 sausages because I’d forgotten to pick them up at Proud Sow and got charged over £12.50. Sausages incredibly average, tasted like the good supermarket ones and in no way a good competitor to the far superior Proud Sow. They also wrapped them in paper that stuck to them, so when I used them the following day I had to pick bits of paper off. Can’t believe some of these reviews, so felt compelled to write my own.

I’ve never tasted a Barnsley Chop as good as from Jon’s. Chicken tastes like it had a good life. Ribs.... wow. Steak, to die for. Great shop.
