This butchers combines both high quality with outstanding customer service. I was interested to try one of their advertised sausage plait’s. They cook from frozen and are made with their fine sausage meat. It was simply divine and well priced. Will be having this again.

Local independent butchers. Good range of meats on offer. I enjoy their sirloin steak very much but also regularly buy frozen bags of pork mince, frozen chicken burgers, boar and apple sausages, chorizo etc. Check their chalk boards outside for stocks of other frozen items in storage, just ask and staff will appear with whatever you need. Good butchers, good no fuss service, just what my fridge & freezer likes.

Fantastic Butchers ! Really lovey guys they always make the effort and provide a really personal service and make you feel like a valued customer more than can be said for my butchers at the super market we go to !
Always great meat ! Its lovely to buy your meat the way we all used to before the supermarket!
There sausages are 2nd to none ! ! Pies are fantastic love the Steak always cut to the size I want !
This butchers has been there as long as I can remember and is worth a visit if you've not been and your looking for a all round great place to buy meat and more the good old fashioned way.

Friendly, experienced, local butchers. Always happy to give advice and help.
They have excellent quality and variety of meat - most recent was a whole shoulder of pork which proved to be amazing (thanks for the cooking advice ...)
Also have amazing meat pies, pasties and sausage rolls ...cheeses, eggs, milk, sauces, fish, scallops, king prawns ... yum!!!

It was most refreshing to once again, a local butcher, just round the corner from where I live (I grew up in a village and we had one there too) . I try to support local businesses where I can and cannot fault McLeish Butchers at all. Always polite, helpful and willing to order in any produce which they don’t stock as standard. Highly recommend!

Great local butchers with a wide range of quality meats. Similar in price to the higher-end supermarket cuts, but definitely superior. The two guys are always really helpful in selecting the right cuts of meat - thoroughly recommended

Always helpful, fantastic quality, huge product range and if they haven’t got it they will get it for you. I would not go anywhere else So much superior to Supermarket meat.
