Shop appears extremely clean and products displayed beautifully. The choice is vast and it’s hard to walk out without buying only what you went in for in the first place. Highly recommend this butchers, we’ve never been disappointed yet and the homemade pork pies are the best in the area.

Exceptional service. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and even made a bespoke sandwich for me.
Also, the Taylors pork pie was very nice.

Super shop this place, they make their own pies, sausages etc.

Bought two Sirloins about 1" thick, their own make Black Pudding and 4 Cornish Pasties .. 24 quid.. completely reasonable as the steaks were really substantial and had been hung for around 5 weeks.. they look immense !.

Guy that served me was the owner he said his BP was the best, I told him he'd need to go some to beat our local butchers up here in Scotland. I usually only buy Scotch Beef but if these taste as good as they look..we'll. !.. I Will update once they get cooked and eaten..

This is definitely one of the best butchers I’ve been to. Top Quality meat 🥩. Amazing staff. Black treacle bacon is beautiful and the steaks are so leann. Well done I definitely be back soon

Got some flavoured sausages, smoked bacon, haggis, black pudding and a pork pie to have whilst we were on holiday and it did not disappoint! Best sausages and pork pie we've had! Nice thick bacon and really tasty black pudding and haggis. We loved it so much we went and bought more stuff to take home with us 😀

Superb butcher, pies sausage Black pudding all homemade and quality meat all at a fair price. We travel from Teesside just to shop here. We'll worthwhile. Highly recommended .

Tempted by a large steak and kidney pie today. Reasonably priced at £6. Pastry was excellent,but let down by the steak. Plenty of it but I was expecting the usual melt in the mouth quality you find from an independent butcher. Sorry to say it was tough and too chewy. Very disappointed.

Thought I’d gone completely made and bought the xl size pork and black pudding as a gift. For the size of the pie (4lb in weight) it had been devoured in 2 days! Absolutely lip licking every morsel, I will be revisiting for another in the near future. Excellent even though not tried it myself
